Xolo Opus Q1000 quad core phablet costs Rs 9999, can be pre-ordered

The Xolo Opus Q1000 is yet another quad core phone that has made its way into India and it is currently up for pre-order through Flipkart for a price of Rs 9,999. Nothing has been revealed about the gadget officially, but the shopping portal says that the phone could be launched in the third week of this month.

Back in November, Xolo had proclaimed that it has partnered with Broadcom over the Opus Q1000 and this smartphone will make the most of the BCM23550 quad core processor. It can clock in a maximum speed of 1.2GHz. And considering that a powerful processor like this would require more system memory, the company has tossed in an entire gigabyte of RAM in the phone.

The entire front panel of the smartphone is mainly dominated by a 5-inch touchscreen that is said to have a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. A 0.3MP camera can also be found on the front and it is mainly responsible for facilitating video calls and selfies. As for the main snapper, you get a 5MP one which has been placed on the rear surface for capturing decent-quality pictures and videos.

It goes without saying that the Xolo phone makes the most of the Android OS, version 4.2 to be precise and is fueled by a 2000mAh battery. You can expect talk time of about 18 hours when used in the 2G mode and about 11 hours if you use 3G. All of these things come crammed into an exterior that has dimensions of 72.9 x 143.3 x 8.95 millimeters.

The Xolo Opus Q1000, as we said, is up for pre-order through Flipkart.
