Xolo LT2000 smartphone launched in India with 64-bit chip, LTE

The Xolo LT2000 is the company’s first 64-bit smartphone for the Indian market and it also comes with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset continues to follow the OEM’s super affordable approach and it has quite an attractive roster of features onboard at a price of Rs 9999.

The Xolo LT2000 is basically a mid-range release and with 4G connectivity, it says that users will be able to achieve 5 times the speed of 3G. Well, that will basically depend on your network provider, but the modem here supports TDD LTE bands and meets Cat.4 standards. To make this possible, the company has ditched its usual chip supplier which is MediaTek and gone with a fairly new Qualcomm SOC.

The 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 64-bit support delivers the steam on this Xolo phone. Sadly, Android 5.0 Lollipop isn’t what you get out of the box, but it will be offered through a future update. The phone ships with KitKat and delivers a pure Android experience.

The handset delivers visuals at 720p HD resolution and a Dragontail Glass coating is applied to prevent scratches on the screen. You also get dual SIM card slots, an 8MP rear camera and a large 2920mAh battery.
