Xolo Q700 Club is a water-resistant costing just Rs 6899 in India

Water-resistance is a feature found mainly on expensive devices, but the Xolo Q700 Club has brought it over to the entry-level segment. The handset has been made available for purchase after being official revealed by the company just last week and it costs just Rs 6899.

The Xolo Q700 Club is a decent looking smartphone with nothing much to write home about. Its water-resistant design meets IP55 standards, making it safe to use in rainfall and capable of surviving jets of water. However, you might want to avoid using it in the shower or even taking it for a dive as the form factor won’t be able to handle the high pressure.

Another great feature about the Xolo handset is that it sports dual front-facing stereo speakers which are a common sight on costly HTC-branded smartphones. The device has Android 4.4 KitKat running the show and there’s no word on whether it’ll be updated to version 5.0 Lollipop.

Additionally, it’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad core chipset which is the same one used in Android One handsets. There’s 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage as well, while a 2000mAh battery is capable of delivering up to 550 hours of standby or around 9 hours of talk time on 3G.
