Xolo Win Q1000 Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone comes to India for Rs 8499

The Xolo Win Q1000 is the second Windows Phone 8.1 handset from the Indian OEM and like the first device, this one is also equally impressive. The smartphone has a pretty attractive design and offers a look not seen before on any release from the company.

Compared to the Win Q900S which was touted as the lightest option in the WP8.1 lineup weighing just 99 grams, the new handset isn’t much different where hardware is concerned. The phone sure does look better and it’s slightly taller as the display used here is 5 inches wide, opposed to the 4.7-inch screen on the previous handset.

However, the panel offers the same 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution and the processor has remained the same as well. You get a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 200 chipset coupled with an entire gigabyte of RAM. For storage, the Xolo phone offers 8GB internal memory and a microSD card slot.

Lastly, it packs a 2200mAh battery which can deliver up to 12 hours of 3G talk time, around 6.5 hours of Wi-Fi browsing or approximately 87 hours of music playback.
