It seems like the Motorola Razr is all set to go globetrotting soon, or at least the recent buzz about it coming to India suggests so. After reports of it making its way to AT&T, the handset is apparently expected to land in India in November.

There have been rumors flying around about Motorola India introducing the Razr in the country, most probably in the first week of November. Confirmed today by BGR India, the company is said to have released a statement confirming the launch this month.

The aforesaid statement by Motorola India confirms the speculations by saying, “Motorola Mobility is bringing the Motorola Razr to India this November.” And it also provides a sneak peek into the prime features of the device.

Securely coated with Corning Gorilla Glass and Kevlar fiber, this handset ought to challenge all the slim smartphones in the market with its 7.1mm thickness. The Super AMOLED Advanced display on this device is naturally of the touchscreen type and measures 4.3 inches.

Equipped with an 8MP camera, the Motorola phone not only clicks clear and sharp images but also records videos in 1080p full HD. What’s more, the pre-loaded MotoCast app enables users to stream or download music and photos directly from up to five PCs.

This handset debuted on October 18 in the U.S. with Verizon Wireless as its carrier, where it was renamed the Droid Razr for obvious reasons. Following this, there were recent rumors about the phone coming through AT&T as well, but no confirmation has been received on that one yet.

The Motorola Razr price and availability details have not been revealed yet. The India website of the company has put up a registration page for the same.
