Clove is all set to grace the scene with a host of smartphones in store, this time it’s the Motorola Razr. The Gingerbread powered smartphone is all set to hit the UK markets by early November.
The retailer is offering this handset as an unlocked phone. Known as the Spyder or even the Droid Razr, it incorporates a 1.2GHz dual core processor. Currently operating on the Android 2.3.5 mobile platform, Motorola has apparently already offered an Ice Cream Sandwich update for this one. Also, the device is designed for a micro SIM, which means it would not accommodate a regular SIM card.
It is equipped with two cameras, an 8MP primary one for images and videos which is supported by a front facing for video calling. The device is integrated with 1GB RAM, backed by 16GB of internal storage space. The external memory is expandable up to 32GB by means of a micro SDHC card.
Flaunting a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced multi-touch display protected by Kevlar fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass, this handset offers connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and DLNA. Apart from this, it has a micro HDMI port while enables connecting it to a television, along with two microUSB ports and a 3.5mm audio jack.
This handset is pre-loaded with the MotoCast application by Motorola, which allows users to wirelessly stream content from up to 5 computers. The app also converts all types of encoded files into formats which are compatible with the Razr. It is also adorned with the Smart Actions app that comes to users’ aid for organizing everyday tasks.
The Motorola Razr is being offered by Clove UK for a price of £454.80 (approx. Rs. 36,187), inclusive of VAT.
