Tech world has witnessed the introduction of a rather unique device dubbed the Detach hard disk drive. As our lives practically revolve around digital data, what with content ranging from music to pictures being in this format, these upcoming devices are required to bring about an increase in the storage space while keeping the portability factor in mind. The Detach boasts of fulfilling most of these demands.
There is no denying the fact that we have access to some highly portable hard disk drives with a truly huge storage capacity. But even these efficient devices fail to get rid of their bulkiness. So to make up for what these devices lack, the Detach hard disk drive, showcased by Yanko Design is expected to offer high performance through its extremely sleek form factor.
The gray exterior of the device comes across as impressive with a glossy finish. The uniqueness of this hard drive lies in its design which is actually a combination of three USB sticks. The Detach is aptly called so as its attributes include the capability of detaching these three USB sticks. Not only does each stick boast of a diverse appearance, but they also feature different storage capacities.
In all, the device is integrated with four USB ports, three at the side to connect the USB sticks and one on top to attach it to the computer system. An important feature is that the assembled gadget can either be used as a single drive or separately by detaching the flash drives.
The Detach hard disk drive seems to be in the concept stage and there is no word on the availability of this device.
