Nokia Lumia 610

Besides announcing the Nokia Lumia 610 India launch, the company has also introduced the Batman Lumia 800 edition in the country. The smartphone inspired by the Dark Knight Rises was first introduced in the UK back in December last year and the Finnish manufacturer also unveiled the Batman edition of Lumia 900, not long ago.

Aimed at the youth, the Lumia 610 comes drenched in shades of cyan, magenta, black and white. Powered by the latest Windows Phone 7.5 OS, it has been pre-loaded with applications like Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and Nokia Music. It should also prove to be a helpful tool for students as the handset has been included with Microsoft Office app that extends support to Word and Excel files as well as PowerPoint presentations. The OneNote app comes in handy for jotting down notes, ideas, pictures and more.

“The Nokia Lumia 610 will introduce Windows Phone to a new generation of smartphone users, offering something very different to the monochromatic smartphones filling shelves today. It is designed to appeal to a more youthful audience purchasing their first smartphone and motivated by the opportunity to keep in touch with friends, family and all the latest information. It is an offering that competes strongly on quality against other smartphones at its price point and still provides access to 100,000 applications, Xbox Live, Nokia Music, Nokia Drive and Nokia Maps,” quoted Vipul Mehrotra, Director-Smart Devices, Nokia India.
