The Motorola Defy Pro that’s capable of withstanding dust, water and scratches, comes across as a classy smartphone which is even apt for professionals. It features a touchscreen as well as a full QWERTY keypad and is slated to be made available in Brazil this month.

This sturdy device’s front panel is equipped with a 2.7-inch multi-touch display reinforced with Corning Gorilla glass and a keypad that facilitates typing on the go. It is pre-loaded with a number of applications including MotoPrint for printing documents directly from the phone and Quickoffice to view and edit documents. Corporate data can be accessed from anywhere as the smartphone has been included with email and VPN support.

Motorola DEFY PRO is ready for anything and will never let you down,” expressed Edson Bortolli, products director, Motorola Mobility Brazil.

Claimed to be a multitasking device, the Motorola handset comes with instrumental Dashboards like Outdoor view, Hiking view and even Workout view. Besides built-in GPS, it boasts of Wi-Fi connectivity to ensure internet access where hotspots are available. Additionally, the phone is armed with a 5MP auto focus camera with flash that can not only capture still shots, but also record videos. The embedded expansion slot allows increasing the memory by up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The Motorola Defy Pro price is not mentioned but it will hit store shelves in Brazil on July 15.
