The Dark Knight is all set to rise again as the limited edition Batman Nokia Lumia 900 has announced its upcoming arrival in the UK. This is not the first time that the Windows Phone based smartphone range has shown an inclination towards the superhero; the Lumia 800 also proudly sported its logo just some time back.
Besides tweeting the picture of the limited edition device, the Finnish manufacturer spoke to Pocket-Lint too. According to the website, the phone will be arriving in the UK through Phones4U. Similar to its predecessor, the black variant of the 900 will flaunt the Batman logo on the back side of its smooth polycarbonate chassis. And potential users interested in laying their hands on it will have to be really fast once it arrives as we aren’t expecting the company to churn out too many of those.
The features of the handset are not likely to be any different from the previously released version. It should continue to binge on the Windows Phone 7 Mango OS. The stylish smartphone dons a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack multi-touch screen reinforced with Corning Gorilla glass and boasts of an 8MP camera powered by Carl Zeiss optics. A 1MP front-facing camera has been thrown in to facilitate video conferencing on the move. The integrated 1.4GHz processor takes care of the multitasking capabilities and the support for the 4G LTE network ensures faster web browsing.
The limited edition Batman Nokia Lumia 900 price and release date have not been revealed, but what we do know is that it will arrive ‘very shortly’ through Phones4U in the UK.
