LG seems to be on a roll as after launching a 55-inch OLED TV and a 5-inch smartphone panel, the company has bounced back with the LG DM2752 and M2752 TVS that also serve the purpose of a monitor. These IPS displays boast of rendering images in full HD resolutions and extend support to the 3D function too.

Potential users can watch TV while working on their computers as these devices have been included with the Picture-in-Picture (PIP) capability. Infinite Surround Sound has been utilized for better audio reproduction and the two HDMI ports can be used to establish connections with set-top boxes or gaming consoles. Additionally, the LG displays feature USB Quick View to play content instantly.

“With the integration of multimedia entertainment and the internet, LG is at the frontier of cutting-edge TV technology. We are developing unique personal TVs designed to meet the needs of changing consumer habits, whether that customer’s passion is 3D gaming, internet browsing or simply watching their favorite sitcom,” commented J.J. Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of IT Business Unit of LG Home Entertainment Company.

As the devices are equipped with IPS panels, prospective customers can expect lifelike and consistent colors sans fluctuations. Their ability to do away with motion blur in case of fast moving pictures can be attributed to Smooth Color Change, while the wide viewing angle of 178 degrees is responsible for eliminating color shift to a high extent.

The LG DM2752 TV with Cinema 3D technology claims to deliver comfortable 3D viewing through lightweight, flicker-free glasses. Capable of converting content from 2D to 3D, it comes with the 3D Effect mode that takes care of the sharpness and clarity of the converted footage. The LG Dual Play function which projects two full screen images simultaneously on the same screen for two different players, is a welcome addition.

The LG DM2752 and M2752 TVs prices are yet to be revealed. The former will be made available in July and the latter has already hit store shelves in select markets within Europe.
