The last we heard of the 55-inch LG OLED TV, it was being showcased at the CES. And the latest follow up on the screen reveals the sleek television is gearing up for a European release in the second half of this year. It arrives with claims of being one of the largest and sleekest OLED displays and at the same time works towards rendering enhanced picture quality.

The company utilizes the 4 Color Pixel technology that is said to rely on a white sub-pixel for an improved color output. According to LG, the TV can reproduce natural pictures which are comfortable to the human eye, with the help of its Color Refiner. Moreover, the ambient brightness and viewing angle also do not distort the images or affect the contrast.

“In the history of television, there have been very few innovations as impactful as the coming of OLED TV. We say the ultimate display because LG OLED TV is truly above all expectations and beyond everyone’s imagination with uncompromising picture quality and beautiful design. This year, we plan to make OLED synonymous with LG,” commented Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG’s Home Entertainment Company.
