The price in India of the Samsung Galaxy Camera, which went up for pre-booking earlier this month, has been revealed. The device is now available through the official company website as well as a number of other online retailers like Snapdeal, Flipkart, eBay and more.
Powered by the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 platform, the device is fueled by a 1.4GHz quad core processor and is deployed with a 16.3MP BSI CMOS sensor. It offers up to 21x zoom and boasts of ISO sensitivity of up to 3200. Featuring TTL auto focus and face detection, the shooter comes with an optical image stabilizer to eliminate the blurring effect due to hand shake.
The snapper with dimensions of 70.8 X 128.7 X 19.1 millimeters, weighs approximately 300 grams. It is graced by a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD TFT multi-touch display that is capable of rendering visuals in 1280 x 720p resolution. Complete with flash, the Galaxy Camera arrives with a number of effects and modes such as normal, vintage, black & white, retro, color fade and many more.
Furthermore, this GPS-enabled shooter has also been pre-loaded with various Google Mobile services such as Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, Google Chrome, Google Maps and Google Play store to name a few. Its communication options include Bluetooth, DLNA as well as Wi-Fi and the device even extends support to the 3G network for internet browsing. The gadget sports a stereo earjack, an HDMI connector, a SIM card slot and a microUSB 2.0 port in addition to an SD card slot to increase the storage by up to 64GB.
