The Sensics SmartGoggles that are equipped with a processor, not only augments the gaming experience, but also claims to take entertainment to another level. The device will be showcased at CES in January next year.

The technology utilized in it allows natural interaction and tracks 360-degree hand movements in real time from the user’s perspective as opposed to most other gadgets of its ilk. The tracking is said to be limitless, offering users with a flexible way to interact with games and applications. In the standalone mode, these goggles offer compliance with a large number of Android applications.

“SmartGoggles revolutionize 3D goggles in the same way that smartphones revolutionized mobile phones. Imagine being able to use hand movements and gestures to wield a light saber in a game, to select a movie from a media library, or to interact with augmented reality content. Just like the iPhone allowed us to take our applications and media library anywhere and interact with it in a useful way, we are excited by the opportunities that the SmartGoggles offer for portable, natural, and immersive 3D interaction,” commented Yuval Boger, Chief Executive Officer, Sensics.
