Onkyo UWF-1 wireless USB adapter for audio enjoyment sans tangled cables

Onkyo UWF-1 USB Adapter Just released, the Onkyo UWF-1 wireless USB adapter provides audio entertainment to its users without the hassle of untangling bunched cables. When connected to a USB port on a compatible A/V receiver, it delivers audio via a wireless router into the main entertainment system.

The LAN adapter makes it possible to playback internet radio and audio files stored in the PC without wasting time in sorting out wires. It comes with a 2.4GHz wireless transmission frequency and is compatible with only Onkyo 2011 network receivers (TX-NRxx9, HT-RC3XX, TX-8050 and later). It cannot directly be connected to the PC.

The UWF-1 provides an IEEE 802.11b/g/n connection for enabling access to music on a home network by air. It consumes 310mA of power and weighs 3.4gms. The device measures 29.8 x 8.4 x 17.0mm.

Onkyo has been producing home entertainment systems since long and last year it had released the CS-V645 audio-video mini system and the CS-445 stereo mini systems. While the former possesses a DVD/CD receiver, the latter is built for the iOS platform devices, iPhone and iPod.

The Onkyo UWF-1 wireless USB adapter is priced at $49.97(Rs. 2,208) and is available at leading retail stores across USA as well as online stores.
