Dell Latitude 10 release date to fall in time for Windows 8 launch

The Dell Latitude 10 release date is scheduled to fall sometime around the Windows 8 launch, along with the unveiling of an Ultrabook and an AIO PC. The touch-optimized tab in question is claimed to be targeted at business professionals as it is packed with a range of enterprise-ready features.

As far as specifications are concerned, a 10.1-inch wide view angle LED display graces the front and it’s protected with Corning Gorilla Glass for added reinforcement. It is also equipped with capacitive 10-finger touch tolerance and there’s an optional Wacom Active stylus thrown into the picture as well.

The Dell Latitude 10 is powered by the next generation Intel Atom SoC and it works in conjunction with 533MHz Intel GMA to render enhanced graphics. Leaning on 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, the Dell gadget‘s eMMC architecture provides 128GB of hoarding space.

For connectivity purposes, the Windows 8 slab entails slots for USB 2.0, a stereo headphone, microUSB, microSIM, miniHDMI, a docking connector and more. To snap up images, the manufacturer has thrown in an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. A front-mounted webcam proffering 720p HD recording capability is present on the bezel for video calls.

The Dell Latitude 10 price details are still under wraps and its release date is expected to fall close to the Windows 8 launch.
