Marking the expansion of the Blade series, the ZTE Blade III price and release date information has arrived. The company has worked primarily in 2 departments – covering the screen size and the memory capacity of the third generation handset.
This fresh ICS device boasts of a 4-inch WVGA touch panel and it offers 4GB of internal memory. The integrated hoarding space can be further expanded by slipping in a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity. Built within dimensions measuring 123mm x 63.5mm x 10mm, a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 A chipset fuels the complete show.
“With Blade III we have paid extra attention to our users. We have focused on a larger screen and expanded the storage space significantly. ZTE Blade III is the first ever smartphone in its price range with a 4-inch touch screen and Android 4.0. This enables more users to take part in an extremely sharp multimedia experience, without costing an arm and a leg,†remarked Ao Wen, Vice President of Europe Operations for ZTE Handsets.
The smartphone offers Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box. On the flip side is a 5MP snapper with autofocus and LED flash. For multimedia playback, the ZTE handset tags along DLNA and Dolby technology. In terms of connectivity, there’s Wi-Fi, GPS, A2DP and Bluetooth 2.1 coming into the picture.
The ZTE Blade III price and release date for Sweden are marked at 1499 SEK (approx. Rs. 12,280) and October, correspondingly. The white variant is expected to hit Finland this month, followed by markets in Europe before the year is up.
