Fans setting their sights on Windows Phone 8 devices could consider the HTC 8X and 8S UK price and release date information that has been revealed by Clove. Both the phones freshly unveiled by the Taiwanese manufacturer, are blended neatly with the new OS when it comes to design and software.
Some features common to both handsets include Beats Audio, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and the Windows Phone 8 OS. As far as the Windows Phone 8S is concerned, it seems to be the less flashy sibling of the 8X. It is equipped with a 4-inch Super LCD display and a 5MP camera. A dual core Qualcomm S3 processor with 1GHz clock speeds powers up the show, while the in-built navigational system is compatible with GPS GLONASS.
“Last night, HTC announced to the world the HTC 8X and the 8S (yes it will get confusing with the One X and One S), 2 new Windows Phone 8 smartphones. On first glance, you would be forgiven for thinking they were Nokia designed phones, but they are quite different,†states a post on the official Clove blog.
The 8X wears a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 touchscreen that’s layered with Gorilla Glass 2. There’s not just an 8MP camera on the back panel, but a 2.1MP imager on the front as well. Apart from the connectivity options mentioned above, this particular handset extends support to NFC too. Its exterior looks uniform and the phone ships drenched in vivid colors.
Like we stated above, the HTC 8X and 8S UK price and release date details have arrived already. The former will set potential users back by £399.99 (approx. Rs. 34,615) and the latter will cost £224.99 (approx. Rs. 19,470). Both the prices are inclusive of VAT. The devices can be pre-booked now from Clove’s official website. The shipments are expected to arrive in November.
