WishTel Ira Thing 2 Tablet

The WishTel Ira Thing 2 has hit the tablet market in India just a few months after its first two siblings touched down. The ICS-based tablet can be picked up dipped in black, pink, blue, white, yellow and red.

This new member of the Ira series houses a 1.5GHz ARM CPU that is clubbed with 512MB of RAM and 4GB onboard memory, which cater to enhancing multitasking abilities. A 7” WVGA TFT capacitive touch panel with a resolution of 800 x 480p decorates its façade. Since this device supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi and a 3G dongle, users can employ these facilities to browse the internet and download or upload content.

“We have been persistent in delivering the best of technology with our earlier two products, Ira and Ira Thing and are overwhelmed with the responses received from our customers,” commented Milind Shah, Chief Executive Officer, WishTel. “With the launch of IRA Thing 2, we wish to offer the youth of today, a device that is fun, trendy and offers access to the best of entertainment and education applications at an affordable price.”

The WishTel Ira Thing 2 embeds a 1.3MP front-facing camera which facilitates video calling on the move and a keypad that supports Indic languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil and Oriya, amongst others. Users can view full HD video clips by connecting the tablet to an external screen via the embedded HDMI or digital port. It draws power from a 3000mAh battery that is capable of delivering roughly 4 hours of browsing time.
