HTC Desire C press shots leaked on Vodafone

HTC Desire C

The yet-to-be-announced HTC Desire C has already found a mention by Vodafone Portugal as one of its May releases. The news has brought the handset into the limelight in the form of leaked press shots and images.

The pictures provide a sneak peek into the specs of the device in question as well. As far as we can see, the smartphone sports a 3.5-inch display proffering images in 320 x 480p resolutions, on the front panel. All the operations are fueled by a processor ticking away at a speed of 600MHz.

In terms of connectivity, it should function on 3.5G, which could be along the lines of the HSDPA network. Carrying 4GB internal memory, the hardware specs of the device also boast of a 5MP camera. The entire show is brought to life by the ICS platform, which means we can expect some features like Android Beam, Face Unlock and NFC among others.

HTC Desire C Specs

As reported on GSMArena, one of their tipsters has revealed the hidden powerhouse of the phone. It will apparently operate on a 1230mAh battery and should carry a price tag below €200. (approx Rs. 13,840). Its Android 4.0 OS appears to be the key element, considering there are many higher end devices waiting for updates to Google’s latest mobile OS.

Going by its features list, the handset comes across as a modestly built ICS treat with a decent set of functions on offer. For now, we cannot pin down the exact HTC Desire C release date and price details, though it may be available via Vodafone Portugal sometime this month.
