A new lineup of products under the Sony pro audio range has made their appearances at the Winter NAMM 2012. Boasting of products like portable audio recorders, headphones and microphone technology amongst others, the portfolio aims at augmenting the acoustic experience of users.

The Sony PCM-M10, PCM-D1 and PCM-D50 digital field recorders are said to be capable of capturing live performances. The high-quality recording capabilities of these devices can be used in a number of applications such as live recordings by journalists, theatrical or other live performances and more.

These PCM recorders come enclosed in durable form factors and boast of a user-friendly operation. Featuring 96KHz/24-bit recording, they are integrated with electret condenser stereo microphones. Additionally, all these Sony products come with 4GB onboard flash memory and allow users to transfer files to Mac and PC systems through the high-speed USB interface.

Further, the DWX series and the UWP series of UHF synthesized microphones fall under the category of wireless systems. Their stable audio reception and multi-channel operation sans interference make them suitable to be used for A/V presentations as well as corporate and entertainment live events. Shotgun microphones and electret condenser also form a part of the pro audio lineup of the company.

The MDR-7520 and MDR-7510 are the latest studio headphones which are accompanied by the MDR-7550 in-ear system. Meant to be used in conjunction with high resolution digital audio recorders and playback equipments, they are aimed at professionals like studio engineers and musicians. These headsets claim to deliver accurate results owing to materials like gold-plated Unimatch 3.5mm/6.3mm adaptors used in them.
