LG Tone+ release date for China, US and Korea set for end of September

LG Tone+

The LG Tone+ release date marks the entry of the proud successor to the Tone Bluetooth headset. This audio peripheral extends support to VoLTE networks and that means prospective users can engage in HD calls between 2 VoLTE-supportive phones.

In terms of audio quality, the LG accessory tags along a host of enhancements as compared to its predecessor. Its extended bass register is said to elevate the accessible sound range to reel out clear and pumped-up acoustics. It adheres to the professional grade aptX audio codec that is recognized world over for reproducing CD-like sound.

To further expand its usability, the LG Tone+ is equipped with Bluetooth Multi-connection functionality to hook it up to 2 smartphones or 1 handset and another multimedia device. The Vibrating Call Alert feature alerts wearers to incoming calls and the Audible Pairing Assistance trait discloses the status of the connection when it is paired with another device.

“LG was the world’s first company to demonstrate VoLTE technology and announce a VoLTE smartphone. And today, we are still at the forefront of efforts to advance the commercialization of VoLTE as a follow up to the global expansion of LTE. In order to provide our customers with a superior user experience over 4G networks, LG will continue to raise the bar on all its mobile products, including accessories that support LTE and VoLTE,” quoted Paul Bae, Vice President of Marketing Center of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.

A number of other tools such as Mic Mute and Audible Battery Status Alert are part of the show as well. Lastly, the gear employs the company’s own Android app dubbed BT Reader that keeps a check on the incoming messages and reads them aloud to the headset mitigating the need to take out the phone from the carry bag or pocket. This bluetooth headset will arrive drenched in shades of while-pearl and blue-black.

The LG Tone+ price is not clear at present. Its release date for Korea, China and the US is marked for later this month.
