Packing in BassImpact technology, the Sony Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset – Elite Edition has dropped in for audiophiles. It’s the second such device from Sony quarters after the official PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset was unwrapped last year.
The audio gear has a host of in-built attributes that weigh heavily on its overall performance. There are the high fidelity speaker drivers which should enhance the sound quality. The aforementioned BassImpact technology is combined with 7.1 virtual surround sound in order to provide users with a decent audio experience. Also, the peripheral offers compatibility with PS3, PS Vita, mobile gadgets or MP3 players.
The Sony engineers have built the accessory in a manner that keeps the integrated noise-cancelling microphones hidden from view. This detailing also allows for a neater design as compared to other devices of its kind in the market. Additionally, its preset modes should make it convenient for users to select gaming genres, movies, and music.

Last year we introduced the Official PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset, and this year we’re amplifying your audio experience with the brand new Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset – Elite Edition, featuring ‘BassImpact’ technology,” says Sony on its official US PlayStation blog.
Moreover, Sony promises to come up with a new PS3 firmware update. This upgrade should rectify the problems which arrived with the v4.10 update that introduced the Sidetone feature. This last mentioned attribute was meant to enable users to hear their own voice through the gadget while playing in multiplayer mode.
The Sony Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset price is $149.99 (approx. Rs. 8,320) and it should hit stores this fall.
