The new-fangled Toshiba Portege Z930 Ultrabook, Portege R930, Tecra R940 and Tecra 950 business laptops arrive powered by 3rd generation Intel Core processors. The notebooks mainly lay claim to enhanced features that render system security and convenient portability.
Equipped with a solid state drive, the Z930 Ultrabook incorporates the Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor customized with vPro and ATM technology. The device has a 0.63-inch, 2.5 pound build and its frame is embedded with various ports for connectivity purposes. It goes by a battery life of approximately 8 hours and even has an in-built fingerprint reader for augmenting the security angle.
The Toshiba Portege R930 is a 13.3-inch business laptop equipped with a DVD drive. Weighing 3 pounds and flaunting a 1 inch thin profile, the chassis carries two USB 3.0 ports for attaching peripherals and so on. The device also supports Bluetooth 3.0 and it can be configured to embed an HDD or an SSD.

The Tecra R940 and R950 each have a 4.5-pound and 1 inch slim construct. The former features a 14-inch diagonal LED-backlit widescreen HD display, while the latter has a wider 15.6-inch display of the same type. They are deployed with a spill-resistant keyboard, a fingerprint reader and a 2MP HD webcam for video conferencing.
The Ultrabook and laptops employ Toshiba Smart Client Manager software. Integrated attributes like Toshiba Power Management enable IT staff the choice to tweak power management settings as needed. Toshiba Patch Management boasts of effectively cutting down on business risks. Furthermore, Toshiba Security claims to enhance the systems’ security features.
The Toshiba Portege Z930 Ultrabook price is $1,249 (approx. Rs. 69,225) and the Portege R930 price is $1,399 (approx. Rs. 77,545). The Tecra R940 and Tecra R950 prices are $1,199 (approx. Rs. 66,455) and $1,179 (approx. Rs. 65,346), respectively. The Ultrabook and laptop will be up for grabs by June 5.
