Besides the Galaxy S Wi-Fi 4.2, a certain South Korean manufacturer has also introduced a sequel to the Player 70 dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Player 70 Plus. This Android based device employs a dual core processor that clocks in a speed of 1GHz to deliver a faster operation even when launching multiple applications at once.

The Galaxy player offers a multi-touch real estate of 5 inches and comes with a DMB TV tuner for users in Korea. Like most other similar gadgets from the company, it is armed with a camera featuring a sensor of 5MP resolution. This snapper should record high definition videos as well as capture good quality still shots. The device draws power from a 2,500mAh battery to cough up the juice for a longer period of time, reports Engadget. It has also acquired the Wi-Fi certification that makes it capable of offering internet access on the move.

The company has released it in two variants with 16GB and 32GB memory capacity and has also embedded an expansion slot to further increase the storage with the help of a microSD card. Needless to say, the 70 Plus will allow users to browse through innumerable apps on the Android Market to download them onto the Galaxy Player and tags along various Google Mobile services.

The Samsung Galaxy Player 70 Plus price and availability details have been revealed by the manufacturer. The 16GB variant can be picked up for 399,000 won (approx. Rs. 17,950), while the 32GB version carries a price tag that reads 469,000 won (approx. Rs. 21,090). It is up for grabs in South Korea.
