Gigabyte U2442N U2442V Ultrabooks

The Gigabyte U2442N and U2442V Ultrabooks as well as the AC21 AIO form part of the company’s lineup of computers unveiled at the ongoing CeBIT in Germany. While the Intel certified notebooks make for a faster performance, the all-in-one should work towards simplifying the desktop experience.

The 14-inch U2442N and U2442V Ultrabooks boast of impressive designs along with sleek form factors that measure between 18.5mm and 20.5mm. The easy-to-carry devices tip the scale at merely 1.5kg. The former is fueled by the third generation Intel Core i5 or i7 standard voltage processor, whereas the latter draws power from i5 or i7 ULV CPUs. They are fitted with an HD+ LED backlight display each, capable of rendering visuals in 1600 x 900p resolutions.

Moreover, the Ultrabooks are integrated with the Nvidia GeForce GT 640M GPU in addition to 2GB VRAM and can support SSD as well as an HDD of up to 1000GB. The Wi-Fi enabled notebooks are also embedded with a USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0 and optional Thunderbolt amongst others. The backlit keyboard should allow users to type in dimly lit conditions too.
