64GB Samsung Galaxy S3 ditches Clove UK, available through Amazon and Expansys

It looks like not many users in the UK are keen on picking up the 64GB Samsung Galaxy S3 as Clove has decided not to stock up on the device. Nevertheless, there are some takers and that’s perhaps the reason why other online stores like Amazon and Expansys are selling it.

While Amazon had 5 models available when we last checked, Expansys is currently taking pre-orders for the variant in question. Earlier this month, Clove had announced that it has put the 64GB phone up for pre-order, but it made clear that it will take stock of the device only if there are a considerable number of people willing to buy it.

And now the e-retailer announced through a blog post that it will not be ranging the S3 on account of not receiving many orders. Users who did order the phone through Clove can still lay their hands over it by heading to the official websites of Amazon and Expansys. The latter is currently allowing people to sign up for it and it will notify them as soon as the handset is available.

As for the specifications of the Galaxy S3, it has been blessed with a 4.8-inch diagonal HD Super AMOLED touchscreen of 1280 x 720p resolution. Based on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform, it acquires multitasking properties from a 1.4GHz quad core Samsung Exynos processor in addition to 1GB RAM. The phone sports a 1.9MP front-mounted webcam as well as an 8MP primary snapper on the rear panel.

Although, the 64GB version may be limited, it can be picked up in variants with 16GB or 32GB internal memory which are also embedded with an expansion slot for a microSD card of up to 64GB capacity. The Samsung smartphone even offers 50GB of Dropbox cloud storage. It is integrated with a 2100mAh battery and tags along attributes such as S Voice, S Beam, Pop-up Play, Smart Alert, Smart Stay, AllShare Play and more.

The unlocked 64GB Samsung Galaxy S3 can be picked up for a price of £600.74 (approx. Rs. 52,725) through Amazon UK.
