With a view to offer advanced computing options to suit the demands of consumers as well as business professionals, a certain manufacturer has unveiled its portfolio of notebooks that boasts of the HP Envy Sleekbooks, Envy Spectre XT Ultrabook, Envy Pro and other Ultrabook systems. Besides the company’s proprietary technologies, these devices have been integrated with Beats Audio and Intel processors to keep users entertained as well as productive.
The metallic HP Envy Spectre XT Ultrabook measuring 14.5mm in thickness, features stark lines, but with a soft texture. This notebook weighs close to 3.07 pounds and is fitted with a 13.3-inch HD display that’s held in place by a slim bezel. It extends support to mSATA solid state drive and is pre-loaded with Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and Adobe Premiere Elements 10. Moreover, this device and the Spectre XT Pro Ultrabook include the TPM security chip each, in order to secure the data in emails or saved on the SSDs.

The Envy Ultrabook systems and the Envy Sleekbooks come in screen configurations of 14 and 15.6 inches. Apparently capable of running continuously for about 8 or 9 hours, these notebooks employ Beats Audio, dual speakers and subwoofers for an enhanced acoustic experience. Additionally, the Sleekbook has also been incorporated with the AMD APUs.
The Envy Pro and other aforementioned Ultrabooks are deployed with Intel Identity Protection, a two-year subscription of Norton Internet Security and Absolute Data Protect for one year. The incorporated Intel Core processor tags along technologies like Intel Rapid Start and Intel Smart Connect for fast boot ups and automatic updates even in the sleep mode. The PCs ship with the Microsoft Windows platform.
The HP Envy Spectre XT and Envy Pro Ultrabooks release date and prices have been revealed. Slated to hit markets on June 8, the former starts at $999.99 (approx. Rs. 53,445), while the latter at $849 (approx. Rs. 45,380). The Spectre XT Pro starting price is $1,049 (approx. Rs. 56,070). The Envy Ultrabook systems are now available and the 14- and 15.6-inch devices begin at $749.99 (approx. Rs. 40,085) and $799.99 (approx. Rs. 42,760), respectively. The 14-inch Sleekbook priced at $699.99 (approx. Rs. 37,415), can already be purchased in the US, whereas the 15.6-inch variant that starts at $599.99 (approx. Rs. 32,080), will be made available on June 20.
