HP Folio 13 Ultrabook arrives in India

The latest entrant in the notebook segment of India, the HP Folio 13 Ultrabook holds the title of being the first Ultrabook from the company to be launched in the country. While it claims to be apt for both personal and professional lifestyles, the device boasts of a battery life better than most others of its ilk.

The sleek notebook measuring 0.75 inches, tips the scale at close to 1.5 kilograms. It sports a 13.3-inch high definition BrightView display and employs the latest Intel Core processors, under the hood. Also included is Intel Rapid Start technology to reduce the power consumption and offer fast resume time, thus saving up on battery life. The Ultrabook can cough up the juice for uninterrupted computing of about 9.5 hours. Fitted with a backlit keyboard to facilitate typing in poorly lit conditions, the Folio 13 comes equipped with the HP Imagepad with support for multi-touch gestures.

The portable PC is said to be capable of supporting solid state drive of up to 128GB capacity and is deployed with HP CoolSense technology. Some other specs of the HP Folio 13 Ultrabook include HP TrueVision HD webcam, Dolby Advanced audio in addition to connectivity options like USB 3.0 port and RJ-45 amongst others. This Windows 7 compatible device can also be integrated with TPM Embedded Security Chip and it works in conjunction with HP USB 2.0 dock, too.

The HP Folio 13 Ultrabook price and availability have been declared. It can now be picked up for Rs. 69,990 across India.
