The portable computer is fitted with the 14-inch HP Radiance HD display which apparently offers higher resolution and a wider viewing angle as compared to most other laptops. The HP Radiance backlit keyboard of the Ultrabook boasts of a proximity sensor and individual LEDs on each of the keycaps, facilitating typing in poorly lit conditions.

Certified by Dr. Dre for audio, the Envy 14 Spectre is equipped with a speaker mesh and aluminum analog dial for managing volume levels. Additionally, the HP Wireless Audio lets users stream audio to KleerNet compatible devices or up to four external audio gadgets. The NFC-enabled notebook is fueled by the Intel Core processor and is capable of coughing up the juice for about 9.5 hours. It weighs not more than 1.8 kilograms and integrates an mSATA SSD of up to 256GB capacity.
Besides the HP ImagePad, the HP Envy 14 Spectre Ultrabook has been deployed with attributes including HP CoolSense, HP TrueVision HD webcam and Intel Rapid Start technology amongst others. It is pre-loaded with software like Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, Adobe Premiere Elements 10, in addition to Norton Internet Security and comes embedded with connectivity options like Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 port, Mini DisplayPort and HDMI connector.
The HP Envy 14 Spectre Ultrabook release date and price details are as follows – it will hit store shelves in India on April 10 and carries a price tag of Rs. 99,999.
