The company has spelled out the Canon PowerShot G15, S110 and SX50 HS price details and has scheduled their release date for October. The former two cameras come with an optional waterproof case that can protect the device when submerged up to 130 feet of water, while the latter brings in 50x optical zoom as one of its main highlights.
First up is the PowerShot G15 that carries a 28mm wide angle f/1.8 – f/2.8 lens which is capable of delivering up to 5x optical zoom. It offers an ISO range of 12800 for capturing images in various lighting conditions. With the Speed Burst HQ mode, visuals can be recorded in up to 10fps. Other than that, the Digic 5 image processor is coupled with a 12.1MP CMOS sensor to provide decent stills through a 3-inch LCD.
Moving on to the features of the S110, it packs in the same image processor, sensor and display as well as a similar ISO range as the above mentioned device. Apart from the Touch Shutter highlight, the camera tags along an f/2.0 lens which can provide up to 5x optical zoom for recording videos. What’s more, this snapper comes with built-in Wi-Fi support that enables users to share content on social networking websites directly from the device.

Last in line is the SX50 HS which relies on a 2.8-inch vari-angle screen for displaying images and a Zoom Framing Assist feature to locate, track and capture subjects. The Smart AUTO function provides optimal settings from 58 pre-defined shooting conditions, while OIS takes care of shakes during video recording. The camera touts a 24mm 50x optical zoom wide angle lens as well as a 12.1MP CMOS sensor and it can offer a maximum ISO range of 6400.
The Canon PowerShot G15, S110 and SX50 HS price tags read at $499.99 (approx. Rs. 27,130), $499.99 (approx. Rs. 27,130) and $479.99 (approx. Rs. 26,060), respectively. Their release date has been scheduled for October, as mentioned earlier.
