The Concord Keystone ECO Booster battery pack was recently unveiled for Micro USB smartphones. It increases the usage time of the handset and comes integrated with a retractable Micro USB charging cable.
Running on a 1400mAh Lithium-polymer battery, this portable battery pack charges as well as extends the battery power for smartphones. It is the latest device to become part of the collection of other power performers like the AmigoCase and the Solar/USB Power PAK from the company, among other charging units and accessories.
Owing to its built-in retractable Micro USB charging cable, users of the device do not need to employ any other accessory. Weighing 65g, it features an adhesive gel pad which comes hidden below a removable protective cover. Users can connect the Booster to the back of their smartphone with ease and sans any slippage after taking off the protective cover. This cover for the adhesive gel pad can be placed at the back of the device and thus used as a horizontal or vertical viewing stand whilst the phone charges.
This new battery pack measuring 102mm x 57.4mm x 13.4mm claims to deliver up to two times the battery life for most Micro USB smartphones. It incorporates a battery check button & LED status indicator for displaying the charge level of the Booster.
The Concord Keystone ECO Booster battery pack is set to be available from October for a price of $34.99 (approx. Rs.1,611).
