Samsung WB750 camera with dual capture functionality unveiled

Samsung WB750 Camera

Samsung has added a new member to its range of compact cameras, the WB750. The dual capture function allows users to record 1080p full HD videos while simultaneously capturing 10MP images.

The 12.5MP Samsung WB750 camera offers 18x optical and 24x smart zoom, supposedly the longest range delivered by Samsung till date. It also features the BSI CMOS technology, which reduces image distortion and noise, and shoots better photos and videos at 10fps, even in poor light conditions.

Merging together photos and videos into a single file, users can create movie clips right on the camera itself, using the Creative Movie Maker feature. The feature also allows addition of several special effects. The camera also offers features like action panorama where users can capture a moving subject with a static background, live panorama and 3D panorama. The 3D panorama function gives a realistic touch to the photos using one lens and one sensor, while the live panorama feature allows capturing a wide or large scenario in one shot by holding the shutter while sweeping across the space.

The Samsung WB750 is also embedded with other attributes like Sound Alive, Advanced HDR, FD+FR+FT (Face Tracking), Smart Auto 2.0, and Smart Filter 3.0. The smart filter 3.0 allows customization of images with a variety of special effects like Oil paint, Cartoon, Ink Painting Color and Cross Filter.

Samsung has revealed all exciting tech specs about its new WB750 compact digital camera in the IFA 2011 held in Berlin, but it is still to announce the release dates and other details about it. There is no word on the pricing either.
