The latest buzz is that the images of the LG BL42 slider phone have been leaked. According to Gizmodo, this phone is the successor of the original LG Chocolate. While the looks of this phone are quite similar to the LG BL40.
The BL42 is a 3G slider that is rumored to have a 240 x 320 pixels non-touchscreen display. It is also said to feature 5 megapixel camera and numeric keypad that slides out. This phone is expected to incorporate Java based operating system along with high speed 3G UMTS. The front of the device conveniently houses a touchpad for navigation.
Along with the images of the BL42, a few images of the LG BL40 have also been leaked. The BL40 is rumored to launch in August. The specifications of the BL40 include 21:9 aspect ratio, 800 x 345 resolution, FM transmitter, approximately 335MB of internal storage, LED light and 5-megapixel camera. This touchscreen phone is also expected to offer WiFi, microSD card slot, HSDPA and accelerometer.
The pricing and availability details of these phones are still to be released.
