Earlier this month we witnessed the launch of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2. And now the Internet is abuzz with rumors which claim that Sony Ericsson plans to launch the Xperia X3 in January next year, reports Phandroid. Apparently, rumors about this handset (earlier named Rachael) were heard back in July.
Reportedly, MobileCrunch says that the SonyEricsson Xperia X3 is all set to release next year in January. This phone was earlier rumored to be the company’s first Android-based handset. However, Sony Ericsson has refrained from commenting on these rumors.
Apparently, the Xperia X3 is said to flaunt a 4-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 400 pixels. The handset is said to incorporate 8.0 megapixel camera along with support for 3G data. The other specifications of the handset include WiFi and GPS.
The site also reports that the Xperia X2 that is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year will retail for around $875 (approx. Rs. 42,073).
