The U.S. Cellular Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has finally hit store shelves stateside. For those who have already placed an order, the handset is on its way, and it won’t be long before it knocks on their doors. Those who have not yet purchased the device can drop by the carrier’s retail outlets or book it through the online store.

This smartphone is based on the Jelly Bean platform powered by the company’s Exynos processor operating at 1.6GHz. A 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display dominates the front along with a 1.9MP camera. For capturing images and recording videos, there’s an 8MP rear-facing snapper that’s fixed at its back. The handset also brings an enhanced S Pen as one of its main highlights, wielding which users will be able to jot down notes and edit stills with much accuracy.

The phone will soon be up for grabs through other network providers like T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. For those in the UK, it can be picked up via Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u, Clove, Three and EE, amongst others. In India, buyers can purchase the handset through a number of retailers including Snapdeal, while Vodafone is offering this particular smartphone in Germany. U.S. Cellular customers will receive a free Battery Swap and additional points.

Going by its price details, the Galaxy Note 2 is currently up for grabs at a price of $299.99 (approx. Rs. 16,085).
