AT&T Sony Xperia TL price confirmed for $99.99

Advertised around town as the official Bond phone, the Sony Xperia TL will be up for grabs through AT&T soon at a price of $99.99. For 007 fans, this handset will come pre-loaded with exclusive behind the scenes clips, interviews, videos, ring tones and wallpapers from the latest Bond flick, Skyfall.

As for the specifications, the smartphone has a 4.6-inch TFT 1280 x 720 pixel touch panel that’s scratch-resistant. There’s also a front-facing camera that lets users conduct face-to-face chats while on the move in 720p. A 13MP Exmor R CMOS AF snapper rests on its rear, capable of recording full HD videos with 16x digital zoom. For music lovers, this phone kicks in a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio with RDS, 3D surround sound and the xLOUD technology for augmented audio quality.

Plus, the handset is capable of delivering up to 16 hours or 5 hours of music or video playback in addition to 7 hours of talktime or 450 hours of standby time. 16GB of internal memory has been incorporated within it, while there’s even a built-in microSD card slot for further storage expansion. This phone offers a ride on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and draws steam from a Qualcomm Krait dual core processor operating at 1.5GHz.

Those wanting to purchase the Xperia TL can pick it up with a two-year contract with the US carrier at a price of $99.99 (approx. Rs. 5,355) from November 2 onwards. Besides the US, the handset has also made its debut in the UK and Canada.
