Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 price in India has gone live and most would agree that the phone will not be that light on the pockets. However, its feature-packed status justifies the price tag as we’re talking about a phablet running the latest Jelly Bean OS here.

The Note 2 is expected to hit stores covering Samsung Plazas, Smartphone Cafes and select sales channels by next week. As for retailers, Snapdeal and Infibeam are offering it for pre-order through their online websites. Coming to the specifications, the phablet sports a visibly giant-sized HD Super AMOLED touchscreen spanning 5.5 inches and delivering a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The S Pen is alive and kicking in this particular handset as well and it should provide potential users with a quick alternative for text input. A number of applications such as Easy Clip, S Note and Popup Note are part of the show to accentuate the experience of using the stylus. In terms of other hardware features, the device operates on a quad core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and renders 16GB of integrated memory.

The hoarding space can be expanded by slipping in a microSD card of up to 64GB capacity, while an 8MP camera is affixed to the rear and a 1.9MP sensor graces the front. Dipped in interesting hues of marble white and titanium gray, the handset offers a range of connectivity options such as AllShare Play that streams content to large screen HDTVs.
