This innovative pair of gadget was spotted by Gizmodo at 7Gadgets. While one cufflink out of the pair boasts of its capabilities to create mobile hotspot, the other one is nothing but a 2GB USB flash drive. So basically, Along with offering users with wireless connectivity and 2GB memory to store data, these devices will also secure their shirt cuffs.
Featuring an oval form factor, these cufflinks are crafted from rhodium-plated base metal and sport a silver finish. In order to enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi internet connections via the accessory, users will have to download the accompanying software. As soon as the cufflink is connected to the computer, it starts acting as a source of internet for wireless devices such as mobile phones, tablets and more.
So with its capability of holding digital content of up to 2GB in its tiny form factor, we must say the device surely comes in ‘handy’ when users need to transfer files. A disadvantage is that the wireless connection feature of the Wi-Fi enabled cufflink is not extended to the other half that crams in a USB drive. Moreover, they will not really be of use if its owners are not dress appropriately to wear cufflinks.
