With the aim to enhance the latest iPod nano watch feature, the Proof strap concept has been churned out of Lief Storer and BoomBotix stables, with funding from Kickstarter. The strap intends to add more functionality and durability to this sixth generation offering from Apple.
Still in the conceptual stage, the Proof strap is being designed to be waterproof and deliver Bluetooth connectivity for the iPod nano watch. These features will enable Nano users to conveniently wear it on a daily basis. It is here where the comfort factor will come into play and the strap means to provide just that to potential users.
Additionally, what owners may give thumbs up to is its ability to pair with speakers and other Bluetooth enabled peripherals owing to its connectivity factor. Thanks to its waterproof attributes, folks indulging in water sports can still have their iPod nano strapped on to their wrists without having to worry about the gadget. Needless to say, other options like Lunatik, Hex and more have created offerings to enhance the usability of this music cube.
Makers of the Proof strap are inviting suggestions from prospective users to take their development in the right direction. They are also quick to mention that the offering does require certain refinements and tweaks in order to be ready for the sixth generation cube. Still in the creation stage, the project is open for funding till December 4.
The iPod Nano watch will get to adorn the Proof ‘soon’ if not later. Users can expect the Boombotix website to put it up for pre-order when launched.
