The craze that followed the release of movies like Avatar and Final Destination seem to have augmented the spread of 3D technology. In response to the 3D trend popular these days, Gunnar has unveiled the circular polarized 3D glasses for entertainment enthusiasts. The eyewear offers compatibility with RealD theatre technology.

The device can be used with monitors from JVC and Hyundai as well as iZ3D’s circular polarized home gaming consoles. It maybe utilized by professionals from various fields like geosciences, design or architecture, government or military, medical and more. Apart from the i-AMP lens technology, the gadget is equipped with a maximized contrast ratio, optimized light transmission, good quality polarization efficiency to reduce distortion and improved true color vision too.

The company plans to release more variants to the 3D glasses soon. The price for these will range from $99 to $199 (approx. Rs. 9,250). Prescription eyewear with more configurations are expected to arrive in Q4 this year.
