Garmin Forerunner 50, a Special Watch for Athletes Introduced

Garmin Logo Today, Garmin announced the Forerunner 50, a sleek watch that will help runners and athletes to keep track record of their workouts. The device automatically stores their data and assists them to reach their personal fitness goals.

The watch captures all information such as distance, speed, and heart rate by just getting it within the range during regular cycling or running routine. According to Garmin, the sensors fitted into the watch are so powerful that they turn on whenever they have stats to collect.

“A healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to come at a great sacrifice of time and money,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin’s vice president of worldwide sales, “and the Forerunner 50 provides runners, walkers and cyclists with a cost-effective training tool that is compact and convenient. The data saved during the workout sessions can be synchronized on the PC by just plugging it to the PC via USB drive. Also users can share data online with their friends and competitors.

The Forerunner 50 is available for Athletes and other Sportsmen at the price of $99 (around Rs. 3,990).
