Kobo Arc 7-inch Android tablet revealed in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions

The Kobo Arc 7-inch Android tablet is all set to be released in higher storage versions. According to the official Kobo blog, the Ice Cream Sandwich slate will be out in editions of 16GB, 32GB and a whopping 64GB as well.

The additional space has been included to render a smooth surfing experience and to let users pin content covering images, clips, webpages and a lot more conveniently. So no more compulsion to carefully peruse content while browsing itself. It all comes together as the Tapestries interface that is tailored to match individual tastes in terms of eReading options, colors and more. Buyers get to pick from black and white versions along with 2 choices of SnapBacks covering blue and purple.

“The new 7” Kobo Arc is getting bigger and better with more storage for consumers this November. Kobo’s new Android 4.0 tablet will be offering 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options and is designed to give consumers around the world a new and unique tablet experience,” states a post on the official Kobo blog.

Running through a few other technical specifications of the slab in question, it is framed by a 7-inch IPS display and houses a dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz for handling the workload. There’s a 1.3MP snapper allocated to the front bezel for video calls and to record clips at 720p HD. The integrated battery is expected to proffer approximately 10 hours of reading or 2 weeks of standby duration.

The Kobo Arc price and release date details have been revealed already. The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB editions are marked at $199.99 (approx. Rs. 10,800), $249.99 (approx. Rs. 13,500) and $299.99 (approx. Rs. 16,200), respectively. It is up for pre-order through several portals and retail availability will fall in November.
