Price details of the Zen UltraTab A900 have surfaced for those who are not too keen on owning either a small 7-inch tablet or a huge 10-inch slate. This device is outfitted with a 9-inch touch panel and lets users make the most of the ICS platform.
Besides a 5-point capacitive screen, its front panel is dominated by a 1.3MP camera for allowing users to engage in video conferencing on the move. A 1.5GHz processor and 512MB of DDR3 RAM are responsible for making the device capable of multitasking and supporting multiple applications at the same time. It gorges on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and boasts of an improved user experience with a 3D home screen as well as multiple widgets. It has also been pre-loaded with applications such as MapmyIndia, Nimbuzz, Reader and Music Hubs and many more.
An expansion slot has been embedded into the tablet in order to increase its memory by up to 32GB using a TF card. It comes with built-in Wi-Fi and extends support to 3G network connectivity with a little assistance from a 3G dongle. Measuring 11.8 x 148.6 x 238.6 millimeters, the slab weighs approximately 512.9 grams. It draws power from a 4000mAh battery that can cough up the juice for web browsing time of up to 14 hours over Wi-Fi or about 3.5 hours of 720p video playback.
The Zen UltraTab A900 carries a price tag of Rs. 7,999; but its availability status has not been mentioned.
