The Swipe Legend tablet’s ‘jaw-dropping’ price details have been announced and the company claims that it is the one of the first dual SIM slates to be powered by a dual core processor. It plays successor to devices like 3D Life, Halo and Float and is already available through authorized dealers.
Its front panel comes dressed in a capacitive screen that provides a multi-touch real estate spanning 7 inches. This TFT LCD display is said to be capable of projecting visuals in 800 x 400p resolution. The compact device is also graced by a 1.3MP front-mounted webcam in order to facilitate video conferencing over the web, click self-portraits or record videos. A 2MP primary camera dominates the flip side and enables users to capture memories in the form of videos and images.
The budget-conscious tablet’s dual core chipset that sits snugly under the hood can process at a maximum speed of 1.5GHz. So, prospective users can expect the device to carry out demanding tasks and even support multitasking by launching multiple applications at the same time. There’s 512MB of DDR3 RAM as well, to ensure smooth multitasking at all times.
Furthermore, the Legend operates with a little assistance of the Ice Cream Sandwich platform. It can be inserted with a couple of SIM cards and can run 3G networks on one of them, while 2G on the other.
