Google LG Nexus 4 hits availability status through Three UK

As was announced by Three in November, the Google LG Nexus 4 went up for sale in the UK and is now available with a two-year contract or with Pay As You Go plans. This first ever smartphone to get a taste of the Android 4.2 platform gains steam from a quad core CPU.

The LG phone featuring 16GB of onboard memory, is devoid of a microSD card slot so users do not have the option of increasing the storage further. Drenched in the shade of black, it crams in a powerful chipset in a form factor that measures 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 millimeters and weighs less than 140 grams. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with 1.5GHz Krait CPU renders fast web access and support for more than one application at the same time.

Since the Nexus 4 has been blessed with 2GB of RAM memory, users can expect the device to offer smooth navigation and its intuitive user interface can be attributed to the latest Jelly Bean operating system. A responsive 4.7-inch diagonal capacitive multi-touch WXGA display powered by IPS technology, takes over the front panel. This Corning Gorilla Glass 2-reinforced screen can deliver images with a pixel density of 320ppi and 1280 x 768p resolution.

Moreover, the Wi-Fi-certified handset has been blessed with communication features like Bluetooth and NFC to facilitate wireless data transfer to and from compatible devices. An 8MP primary camera sits on the rear panel, while a 1.3MP webcam graces the front side. It is compatible with mobile networks such as UMTS, HSPA+, HSPA+ 42, EDGE, GPRS and GSM. Also, the smartphone can be charged wirelessly and it provides talk time of up to 600 minutes.

The Google LG Nexus 4 can now be purchased for a price of £399.99 (approx. Rs. 35,130) with Pay As You Go plans and for £35 (approx. Rs. 3,075) with a two-year customer agreement and qualifying data plans.
