The price in India of the Samsung Google Nexus 10 has finally been revealed, albeit unofficially. Some online retailers are now selling the imported slates in the country and are claiming to ship it within 3 days of pre-ordering. An official announcement regarding its availability details has not been made as yet.
This tablet’s siblings, the Google Nexus 7 and the Nexus 4 have also arrived through various e-retailers before the concerned companies could officially bring them in. While the 32GB tablet in question is available for Rs. 31,000 through Junglee, its imported version is up for sale through eBay.in for a whopping Rs. 40,500. The latter also stocks up on the device with 16GB storage capacity which will set users back by Rs. 32,800.
The Samsung tablet, manufactured in association with Google flaunts a 10.05-inch capacitive WQXGA True RGB Real Stripe PLS touchscreen of 2560 x 1600p resolution with a pixel density of 300ppi. It has also been reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for protecting the display from scratches. The tablet comes encased in a chassis measuring 263.9 x 177.6 x 8.9 millimeters and weighs approximately 603 grams.
Equipped with 2GB of RAM, the Nexus 10 acquires multitasking properties from a dual core A15 processor and its advanced graphics can be attributed to the quad core Mali T604 GPU. It arrives with either 16GB or 32GB onboard memory. The key highlight of this slate is the latest Android platform, Jelly Bean v4.2 that should tag along an intuitive user interface.
This latest generation Nexus device has also been deployed with most essential sensors and a 9000mAh lithium-polymer battery. Equipped with dual cameras, it boasts of a front-mounted 1.9MP webcam as well as a rear-facing 5MP auto focus snapper. The Wi-Fi slab sports a micro USB port, a Magnetic Pogo pin charger, a micro HDMI connector and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
