Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 coming this August

Even though the official price remains a secret, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 release date is confirmed to fall within this month. A while ago, we had a glimpse of the tablet’s cost in the US via Negri Electronics and going by the story, buyers can expect it carry a price tag of around $750 (approx. Rs. 41,300).

As most are aware, the slate wears a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800p LCD display. Placed beside the screen is a 1.9MP camera that’s designed for video calling purposes. A 5MP snapper is fitted onto the rear end of the device and it tags along features such as LED flash and AF with full HD video recording capabilities. There is also an embedded 3.5mm jack coupled with the built-in SoundAlive technology for an enhanced audio experience. Powered by a 1.4GHz quad core processor, this slab runs on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform.

Simon Stanford, Vice President, UK & IRE Telecommunications & Networks Division, Samsung UK and Ireland, asserted, “Following the success of the very first Galaxy Note which we launched at the end of last year, we’re delighted that our UK customers will now be able to experience the evolution of this device for themselves. The Galaxy Note 10.1 is a product we are very excited about and will offer our customers a new way to use and experience a tablet device.”
