Those in urgent need of a high-end notebook could opt for the newly launched Maingear Vybe 15 that’s claimed to ship within 28 to 48 hours from the time of order confirmation. The device is available in four versions, namely Good, Better, Best and Ultimate that differ in components and performance levels.
Along with 3rd generation Intel Core processors, the company is offering choices of Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M and GT 650M Kepler-class GPUs with 2GB GDDR5 memory. The 15-inch full HD LED-backlit screen employed here is layered with a matte finish for reducing glare. Also, the device is outfitted with the Optimus technology that aims to reduce power consumption. For entertainment, there are four integrated speakers with the TruStudio Pro Sound technology.

For easy input, there is a multi-touch trackpad as well as a full-sized keyboard fitted onto the device. While the former tags along on and off capabilities, the latter flaunts a number pad. The notebook can be configured with an optional mSATA SSD holding a total of 256GB in storage and up to 16GB of DDR3 Corsair Dominator RAM operating at 1600MHz. It even includes HDMI and VGA outputs, a multi-card reader port and a 3.5mm gold-plated headphones jack for extended connectivity.
The Maingear Vybe 15 notebook price starts at $1,099 (approx. Rs. 60,760) and runs all the way up to $1,999 (approx. Rs. 110,390). While the Good and Better versions are already up for grabs, the other two editions will commence shipping on August 17.
