The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime that takes pride in being one of the very first tablets to employ the Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor, has arrived in India. This business-ready Gingerbread tab can carry out multiple operations at once and seems to be apt for on-the-go entertainment.
The Transformer Prime boasts of a slim footprint as it measures merely 8.3mm in thickness. The slate, outfitted with an LED backlit Super IPS+ display, provides a multi-touch real estate of 10.1 inches. This touchscreen is reinforced with Corning Gorilla glass and renders visuals in 1280 x 800p resolutions.
The decent graphics performance of the tab can be attributed to the faster GPUs along with stereo 3D. The Asus SonicMaster technology utilized in the multimedia-ready slab, claims to reproduce improved audio. It comes equipped with an 8MP primary camera in addition to a 1.2MP front facing webcam.
